The Bambinos program will be celebrating its 10th anniversary during the 2026 season!
We are a small, independent team, focused on growing young players in the North Denver community to foster their development and love for the game.
Established by Coach Nate Aguilar in 2016, the Bambinos started with the Denver Police Activities League (PAL), where our teams were introduced to tournament play. As the program grew and Denver PAL changed their offerings, the Bambinos moved to the Rocky Mountain Junior Baseball League, continuing to give our players exposure while playing in tournaments at the State and National level.
Our practice fields are located in North Denver, including Lake Middle School, Sloan's Lake, Rocky Mountain Lake Park, Skinner Middle School, and North High School. The Bambinos are a direct feed into Denver North High School, whose program also hosts our indoor practice facility.
Bambinos players have garnered many notable accomplishments over the years. Five program players have been selected to represent Team USA in the Dominican Republic, with one player bringing home a gold medal!
In 2024, we graduated our first class of Bambinos, with 14 players moving on to represent Denver North High School as the Class of 2028. Four of these players were selected for the Varsity Level as incoming freshmen, with other players at the JV and Level 3 levels.
We graduated our second class of Bambinos in 2025, with eight Bambino Players moving on to Denver North High School this fall. Bambinos graduates have also moved on to play for other area high schools, including Lakewood High School, Arvada West, Denver Christian High School, Denver East, Wheat Ridge High School, Evergreen High School, Golden High School, Riverdale Ridge High School, and Northfield High School.
